Astride the Touraine and Cheverny PDOs, Le Clos du Tue-Bœuf produces wines of both designations.
Every parcel with a specificity is vinified separately. Thus, each year, 10 vintages see the light of day from a parcel or a geological unit.
Since 2003, Jean-Marie and Thierry Puzelat have also been producing vintages under the Vin de France (VDF) label, from standing grapes bought from organic winemakers from the Cher valley.
These grapes produce generic wines (Le P’tit Blanc du Tue-Boeuf, Vin Rouge and Vin Rosé), which are to be drunk very young, when the fruit exrpesses itself.
